Renovated into a Private Childcare Facility.
An existing 2-story medical office building was renovated into a private childcare facility. A new entry tower element and a strong color palette gave life to a tired building. The new interior layout wraps around an existing dental office tenant located on the south side of the building which was required to remain in place and operational during construction of the renovation.
A new tower element was designed and a strong color palette was selected to breath new life into a vanilla shell that consisted of awkward geometry.

Building Engineering Systems Were Overhauled
We overhauled all major systems; electrical, mechanical, structural, and fire protection. The building was transitioned from a medical office building to a mixed use building. All mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems had to be completely renovated in order to comply with building code for childcare.
The result is a safe and modern facility within a beautifully preserved historic exterior shell.
