ENTITLEMENT

Can I build that there?

Before purchasing a piece of property, it is always best to do thorough research. Property is a big investment and if you are not familiar with your local zoning codes and regulations you could end up buying a property that cannot accommodate the building type you would like to build on it.

Entitlement is the process of finding out what type of building a property and its zoning classification will allow.

PROGRAMMING

What do you need? What do you want?

We all need a roof over our heads, but buildings mean so much more than protection from the elements. They are places of comfort when we are tired and places of excitement when we want to play.

More than just rooms with windows and walls, each room serves a special purpose and evokes it’s own unique feeling.

Programming allows for identifying each space that is needed and wanted. Prioritizing the importance of each area and the function that it serves will lead the way to initial conceptual diagrams and plans. SITE PLANNING

Encourage children to play. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

In today’s society full of video games, electronic toys, and television viewing at an all-time high, encouraging large motor skill play outdoors is harder than it sounds. Obesity in America is at epidemic proportions and the rising generations are expected to have a lower life expectancy than their parents.

Creative outdoor spaces and large open areas are crucial to a child’s daily life. They need a place to run, jump, and explore. They don’t want to hear a lecture about exercise, they just want to have fun!
